COVID-19 Safety Plan
Practice

Hand sanitizer must be used by participants and coaches as they enter and leave practice.

Pods of 25 athletes/pod per court (not including coaches and student managers).

Masks/face coverings must be worn by coaches, staff, players and other team personnel at all times.

Leave the court as soon as reasonably possible upon the conclusion of practice.

Wash your hands thoroughly or use a hand sanitizer after coming off the court.

No social activity or congregation of student-athletes should take place.

Showers should not be utilized after practice.
Equipment

Basketballs must be sanitized before and after each practice, whether self-provided or brought by the coach.

All student-athletes must bring their own clearly labeled water bottle. Water bottles must not be shared.

Drinking fountains may not be utilized.

Equipment used during practices should be disinfected between athletes’ use of equipment. If in groups, sanitization should occur in between each group.

Student-athletes must wear their own appropriate workout clothing (do not share clothing). Individual clothing/towels should be washed and cleaned after every workout. Recommendations and Considerations

Competition Masks/Face Coverings

Masks/face coverings must be worn by coaches, staff, players and other team personnel at all times.

Officials must wear masks/face coverings when entering and exiting the facility, during pre-game, halftime, and after the game.
Team Benches
-
Limit the number of bench personnel to observe social distancing of 6 feet or greater.

Team benches must be only available to members of that specific team, and not a shared/common space.

Bench personnel not in the game must adhere to face covering and social distance requirements.
Busing
-
Maximum of 24 individuals on a bus

One person per seat

Masks/face coverings must be worn by coaches, staff and players

Alternative Transportation Form – For any family who does not feel comfortable having their student ride the bus, you may elect to provide your own transportation.
